Dani Behr

Dani Behr (born 9 July 1971 in London) is a British television presenter and singer of South African and Jewish descent.

Career

A graduate of the Sylvia Young Theatre School, she was discovered by Pet Shop Boys manager Tom Watkins, who put her in his female Bros concept, Faith Hope and Charity, signed to the WEA record company. However the band was not successful and Behr moved into television production.
At the age of sixteen she was signed to present the late night Channel 4 music show The Word, which she was involved with for five years. She went on to present over 30 TV shows, including The Big Breakfast,"Hotel Babylon", Ice Warriors, and in 2002 The Saturday Show for the BBC.
After numerous presenting jobs for shows in the United States, Behr decided to move permanently to Hollywood to begin presenting "Extra" for NBC. She went on to host several more shows for Fox, NBC/Bravo, VH1, with her biggest hit so far being the 2003 reality show Boy Meets Boy". In between TV, Behr has also presented radio shows for KissFM, and has had some minor film acting roles and appeared alongside Kate Winslet, Oprah Winfrey, Glenn Close & co in the successful play "The Vagina Monologues" both in London at 'The Old Vic' and on Broadway at 'Madison Square Gardens'.

Personal life

Behr has dated several high-profile names whilst living in the UK, including footballer Les Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and J from boy band '5ive'.
During this time her relationships were well publicised by the tabloids. Behr married American restauranter and surfer Carl Harwin in Malibu, California, on 5 May 2005 - with pictures of the wedding featured in Hello! magazine.
They currently have a 9 month old daughter Coco.

Danielle Lloyd (born 16 December 1983, Liverpool) is an English lingerie and glamour model, and former Miss England (2004).

She was stripped of her title of Miss Great Britain 2006 after posing for nude pictures featured in the December 2006 of Playboy magazine, and her tabloid-alleged affair with one of the judges, her footballer boyfriend at that time Teddy Sheringham. As a participant in the 2007 series of Celebrity Big Brother, Lloyd, along with others, was accused of using bullying tactics and making racist comments directed against the Indian actress Shilpa Shetty. According to reports from the tabloid News of the World, Sheringham has decided to end his relationship with Lloyd as a result of her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.

Danielle Lloyd was born in Penny Lane, Liverpool in 1983. Her parents, Jackie and Arthur Lloyd, work as a bank manager and an engineer, respectively. At the age of 3 months, Lloyd contracted whooping cough, resulting in damage to her lungs. This led to her developing asthma.

The headmaster of Lloyd's old school, St Hilda’s, Chris Yates said: "There’s no recollection of her ever being persecuted and no teacher can ever recall any incidents where Danielle was bullied. In fact I’ve been lead to believe by her former friends that the opposite is true."

On November 2, 2006, she was stripped of her title “following recent claims in the press and magazines and the publicity given on the Playboy Web site for their next issue", according to the MissGreat Britain website. The claim they were referring to was that Lloyd had been dating Teddy Sheringham, who was one of the judges of the pageant, for more than two months before her victory. This was reported by the media after she allegedly said in an interview that Sheringham bought her a pair of shoes for Christmas. Lloyd continues to claim that the relationship started after the pageant, and that the interview was made up. She attributes her topless shoot for the December 2006 issue of Playboy as the primary reason for the loss of her title.

On 11 January 2007 it was revealed that Lloyd was being sued by the Miss Great Britain company for breaking her contract and bringing the company into disrepute. The company is asking for full revelation of the sums she earned for the Playboy pictures, plus costs.

Lloyd made a memorable appearance on BBC One's Test the Nation. When asked "Who was Winston Churchill - a rapper, US President, the PM or King?", Lloyd answered "Wasn't he the first black president of America? There's a statue of him near me - that's black."

Lloyd has recently appeared in FHM and Maxim magazines and before the Big Brother racism row wrote a column for celebrityspotlight.co.uk.

Lloyd was the second housemate to enter the Big Brother House, and had amongst her possessions a blue teddy bear doused in Sheringham's aftershave.

Lloyd garnered significant negative publicity when thousands of complaints were filed with Ofcom after she, Jade Goody and Jo O'Meara, dubbed "The Witches (or Bitches) of Elstree" were accused of bullying and making racist remarks towards their fellow house mate, Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.

This behaviour also created an international outcry gaining heavy coverage in the Indian media. Gordon Brown, the British Chancellor of the Exchequer visiting India at the time, condemned the programme on the grounds that he is against anything which might damage the perception that the United Kingdom is a country of tolerance. In a statement on January 17 Channel 4 defended the programme against charges "of overt racism or racial abuse".

Lloyd's aunt directly accused her of racism, adding "It was disgusting the way Danielle treated Shilpa. I'm surprised Big Brother didn't throw her out of the house."

A newspaper interview made before Celebrity Big Brother, from November 2006, revealed Lloyd's anti-immigration views: "If I was (a politician), I'd get more people into work and stop people coming into the country. There's so many people who come into England because they know they can get benefits. People who already live here should get the jobs".

Lloyd’s mother said in the News of the World that her family has been “destroyed” by the racist row: "Danielle is at the start of her career and facing ruin because of a TV show that she thought was going to be entertaining and fun. Everything's been taken away from her as well. It has destroyed the family. I'm regretting she went in. Danielle has got a lot of questions to answer when she gets out." She denied her daughter was a racist, claiming: "She will be distraught but she's got to take responsibility. She's been stupid and naive and she's guilty of that (but) I know she didn't mean any racial connotations when she told Shilpa to go home. Danielle's been brought up amongst family friends of all different races. I swear she isn't racist."

Danielle has agreed in an attempt to revive her popularity to go on a 'date' with a competition winner. The Daily Star in promoting the article discusses how she wears 'plunging vest top and miniskirt.' when on a date and will willingly attend at any public house of the entrant's choice.

Danielle Lloyd helped open a mobile phone safety campaign after her own mobile was stolen in a Liverpool club. The Keep It Safe & Secure campaign, backed by the National Mobile Phone Crime Unit encourages mobile users to take greater safety precautions when using their phone.

She is currently working with a number of coaches who work out of the Sanchez-Casal Academy. Her WTA Tour mentor in the Partners for Success program was Martina Navratilova, who was her doubles partner for a brief period in early 2005. As of October 29, 2007, Hantuchová ranks at No. 9 in singles. She has twice topped the ACE tennis magazine's Hot List of the world's sexiest tennis players.

Defending a title for the first time in her career, Hantuchová made it to the fourth round in Indian Wells, losing to Amanda Coetzer 6-4 6-4. Despite a first round loss to Alicia Molik in Miami, Hantuchová rebounded in the Tier I Charleston event, making her fifth quarterfinal in seven events, losing to Ashley Harkleroad 6-2 6-1. She made her sixth quarterfinal at her next event in Amelia Island, losing to eventual champion Dementieva 6-0 6-1.

Daniela Hantuchova had a successful US Open series run, where she reached the semifinals in Cincinnati, getting upset by No. 74 Akiko Morigami 6-4 6-4. After Cincinnati, in Stanford, Hantuchová lost to Clijsters in the quarterfinals 6-3 6-1. And after a second round loss in San Diego to Sugiyama, Hantuchová reached her fourth final in Los Angeles, getting a walkover in the quarterfinals over Sharapova, and got revenge against Dementieva in the semifinals, defeating her 6-3 6-4 (Hantuchová stands 2-0 against Dementieva in semifinals). In the final, for the seventh time in their head-to-head, Clijsters defeated Hantuchová 6-4 6-1. For the third time at the event, Hantuchová made the quarterfinals in New Haven, losing to Davenport 6-2 7-6(5).

Despite disappointing results in the warm-up tournaments she equalled her Australian Open performance by getting to the fourth round of both the French Open and Wimbledon before extending her 2006 Fed Cup record to 6-0 by winning both her singles matches in Slovakia's 5-0 rout of Thailand, which ensured their promotion to the World Group II. Daniela Hantuchova finished the year ranked 17th in the world with a 34-25 record. She went 24-17 on hard courts, 5-4 on clay, 3-2 on grass and 2-2 on carpet. She was 4-6 against top 10 players beating Schnyder (twice), Safina and Kuznetsova, with losses to Sharapova (twice), Clijsters, Henin-Hardenne, Dementieva and Nadia Petrova.

In her seventh event of the year Hantuchová won just her second title at the same tournament she had won five years prior in Indian Wells, California. She defeated Kaia Kanepi 6-1 2-6 6-2, Francesca Schiavone 6-2 7-6(3), Martina Hingis 6-4 6-3, Shahar Peer 6-2 5-7 7-6(5), Li Na 7-5 4-6 6-1 and Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-3 6-4.

Hantuchová reached her first clay semifinal at the tournament in Rome defeating Aravane Rezai 4-6 6-1 6-2, Bammer 6-1 6-2, Chakvetadze 6-2 6-3 and clay-court specialist Anabel Medina Garrigues 7-6(8) 7-5. She lost to Kuznetsova in the semifinal 6-4 6-2. At the French Open she exited in the third round losing to Anabel Medina Garrigues 4-6 7-6(2) 7-5.

At the U.S. Open Hantuchová crashed out to Ukraine's Julia Vakulenko in the first round in three sets 6-4, 3-6, 6-1. It was Hantuchová's earliest loss at the U.S. Open since her debut in 2001, and her earliest loss at a Grand Slam since the 2004French Open . Daniela bounced back from that disappointment the next week by getting to her second final of the year at the Tier III tournament in Bali where she lost to Lindsay Davenport 6-4 3-6 6-2. Hantuchová's biggest successes have so far come in mixed doubles. The elder of two children, born in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England, Catherine Deeley attended Grove Vale Infant School in Great Barr followed by Dartmouth High School, where she played clarinet in the Sandwell Youth Concert Band. She then continued her education at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School's Sixth Form. After achieving nine A grade GCSEs and four A-levels at school, Deeley became a full time fashion model. She occasionally hung out with her brother Max, becoming a tomboy. Prior to this, she entered a regional BBC competition called The Clothes Show, where she made it through to the finals. She was spotted by an agent, and Deeley signed with the Storm modelling agency, where Kate Moss was also on the roster. She shortened her first name to Cat because there were several other Storm models named Catherine.

Catherine Deeley left modelling after two years and became an MTV UK presenter in 1997. She usually co-hosted with Edith Bowman, with whom Cat is very good friends. She became famous for presenting in her bare feet, saying she felt more comfortable and at home hosting this way.

From 1998 to 2002, she was co-host with Ant & Dec on the Saturday morning children's show SMTV Live and also hosted its spin off shows CD:UK (From 1998 through to 2005) and CD:UK Hotshots. In 2001, she won a Children's BAFTA award for Best Presenter and appeared in an episode of the BBC's Happiness. She is also an entertainment contributor for ABC News, providing coverage from various awards shows including the Golden Globes and the Grammy and Academy Awards.

For a period, Deeley was the face of Shape Water and a number of Garnier Fructis products, appearing in print and television advertising in the UK and Ireland.

Caroline Winberg was born in Sollentuna, Sweden as the daughter of Thomas and Camila. Caroline enjoyed a relatively normal childhood and was something of a tomboy in her youth. Carla Bruni Tedeschi (born Turin, Italy, 23 December 1967), is an Italian supermodel, songwriter and singer. She is the daughter of rich industrialist and classical composer Alberto Bruni Tedeschi and Marysa Borini, Italian concert pianist, and sister of Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.

Born in Turin, she grew up in France from the age of five and later attended boarding school in Switzerland. She eventually returned to Paris to study art and architecture, but left school at 19 to become a model full-time.

Heiress to an Italian tyre manufacturing fortune, Bruni had no need to work, but by 1988 was among the 20 highest-paid fashion models, earning $7.5 million a year. While modelling, Bruni became a tabloid staple by dating rock stars Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger; tycoon Donald Trump; and actors Kevin Costner and Vincent Perez.

Her following high fashion campaigns were for Roberto Cavalli, Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, Guess? and Anna Molinari. She also appeared in the 2005 Victoria's Secret fashion show and in their catalogs.

Catrinel Menghia (born October 1, 1985) is a Romanian model.
She was discovered at the age of 16 on the street by a local agent who took her to Bucharest to meet Liviu Ionescu of the MRA Agency. Six months later, her parents allowed Menghia to move to Bucharest and start an international modeling career.
