Moss was born in Addiscombe, London Borough of Croydon, England. She attended Ridgeway Primary School, then Riddlesdown High School. In November of 2006, Moss won the Model of the Year prize, the top accolade in British fashion, but the award has divided opinion and stirred fresh controversy.
