Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente Scherzinger  (also known as Nicole Kea, born June 29, 1978) is an American Urban pop singer, songwriter, dancer, model, and occasional actress best known for her role as the lead vocalist for the Pussycat Dolls. She used the surname Scherzinger when she was adopted by her stepfather. Nicole has a contralto vocal range.

Nicole Scherzinger was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a Filipino father and a Hawaiian/Russian mother. Her mother Rosemary was 18 at the time of Scherzinger's birth and lived in an inner city neighborhood and separated from her father when she was a baby. The family moved to Louisville, Kentucky when she was six years old,  with her sister Ke'ala and German American stepfather Gary Scherzinger. She stated she had a "conservative Catholic" upbringing. Nicole Scherzinger began her life as a performer in Louisville, attending the Youth Performing Arts School at duPont Manual High School and performing with Actors Theatre of Louisville.Nicole Scherzinger majored in theater arts at Wright State University but put her studies on hold in 1999 to sing backing vocals for the rock band Days of the New.

Jennifer Love Hewitt became well known for her roles on "Party of Five" and in the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" flicks, but her career started off simple: She sang on stage at livestock shows at the age of three. Her parents where encouraged by friends of the family to move to Los Angeles to see if Hewitt had what it takes to be a star. She appeared in over 20 commercials as a child actor, until she landed a gig for the Disney Channel show, "Kids Incorporated" (Fergie).
Hewitt went on to mostly forgettable roles on TV shows like "Running Wilde" and "Shaky Ground". But her breakout role on "Party of Five" showed audiences that the cute little kid had grown up…and out. Referring to her noticeably large breasts, Hewitt told Playboy magazine, "I just accepted them as a great accessory to every outfit."
