Dana Hamm
Dana Hamm is one of the most successful print models of all time. Her model celebrity status has landed her in top magazines such as: The Girls of FHM, FHM, Stuff, Femme Fatales, Maxim, Loaded, Muscle & Fitness, and more! Thanks to a wonderfully sculpted body, hypnotic green eyes, and full lips, Dana has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most promising rising stars! Cited by popular media as one of the world’s most beautiful women, Dana is often compared to the likes of Angelina Jolie.
Dana began her career in fitness in 2000, gracing the covers of the world’s top fitness magazines including: Muscle & Fitness, Muscular Development, MuscleMag International, Italian Fitness, Olympians Fitness, Pump, Planet Muscle, Fitness Rx, Oxygen, and Ultimate Athlete. Dana brought a whole new light to fitness, because she was fitness model with mega curves and soft sex appeal. She opened doors for other models that preferred to portray an ultra-feminine version of “health”. Dana’s dangerous curves and exotic face earned her numerous layouts of up to over 32-pages! She has been featured in more individual magazine pictorials than any other fitness or pinup model alive.
Not only did Dana break the mold in fitness, she has successfully gone mainstream appearing in mainstream magazines and working as an aspiring actress. Dana was named as the official swimsuit cover girl for the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. She also hosted the ESPN Canadian Strength Series as well as appeared on the runway in South Beach as a top model for Bebe, Becca, BluePoint, and Lucky Brand Jeans.
Another strange, but interesting thing happened to the up-and-coming model. An employee from MGA Entertainment Corporation alerted Dana’s manager to the fact that Dana’s likeness was being used to create the infamous Bratz Doll. In fact, while researching the matter they discovered there was actually a doll in the Bratz Doll collection named “Dana”. The facial likeness is staggering and even the dolls clothes are very similar to outfits Dana has worn in photo shoots. Adding to her growing list of accomplishments Dana launched her own product line of posters and calendars, which are currently sold in over 3,000 retail stores nationwide: Spencer Gifts, BMG Sony, Calendar Club, Sam Goody, Tower Records, and more.
Dana has taken her acting career so seriously that she applied and was accepted to the prestigious Strasberg Theatre Institute in NYC where a-listers like Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon, and Claire Danes also attended acting classes.
A native of North Carolina, Dana Hamm was born to an entrepreneur father and beauty queen mother, on August 31st. During her childhood, Hamm attended private school and was quite a tomboy at heart. She loved to fish, freestyle on her BMX bike, and horseback ride rather than sit inside watching television. Around age 16 Hamm matured into a striking young woman and excelled in high school, receiving top grades in fine arts, English and science. After graduating from high school, she attended college and earned her bachelors degree in Psychiatric Social Work. During college, Hamm became hooked on fitness training and devoted as much time to working out as she did to her schoolwork. She decided to put her good looks to work and aimed to start modeling. However, Dana wisely decided not to go through modeling agencies like Ford or Next. Instead she appeared on a popular talk (Jenny Jones) as one of America’s fresh new faces. This television appearance helped her to gain notoriety and establish herself as a model. After the show aired Dana received a slew of inquiries and interests…everything from offers to become Playboy Playmate to appearances in movies such as “The Scorpion King” with The Rock.
Dana Hamm quickly used her business savvy and struck-up a partnership with one of America’s top glamour photographers and they did it all themselves. The team marketed Dana directly to companies and magazines in search of fresh talent. Today Dana’s team is creating more buzz than ever with magazines, movies, products, appearances, and more.
